At FamilyTreeMakerHelp.us, we process refund requests under specific terms and conditions. Please read our terms carefully before using our services.

Refund Policy Eligibility & Processing Time

  • You may request a refund within 30 days of purchasing a Family Tree Maker subscription.
  • Refund processing takes 7-10 business days from the date of your request.

Refund & Cancellation Fees

  • If you request a refund within 24 hours of purchase, there will be no cancellation fee, provided no service has been rendered.
  • If we have already provided technical support and resolved your issue, a one-time service fee will apply.
  • If you purchased software, we do not offer refunds on installed software. We do not sell software licenses to third parties, so please consider this before purchasing.
  • You may request cancellation within 15 business days from the purchase date of services. However, 50% of the invoice amount will be deducted as cancellation charges, and the remaining amount will be refunded to your original payment method.

How to Request a Refund?

  • Refund requests must be sent via email from your registered email ID to support@familytreemakerhelp.us.
  • Refund requests made via live chat will not be processed.
  • You may also request a refund by calling our toll-free number.

Refund Request Denial Conditions

Your refund request will be denied if:

  1. You have already installed the software on your computer.
  2. You have used our technical support services more than once.
  3. The refund request is sent from an unregistered email ID.
  4. You request a refund to a different payment method than the one used for the purchase.
  5. The order has been fully completed and the service has been delivered.

Refunds Accepted in the Following Cases

  1. Download or Unzipping Issues – If you are unable to download or extract the software, contact our Technical Support within 3 business days for assistance. If no contact is made within this timeframe, no refund will be issued.
  2. Major Defects – If there is a confirmed defect in our product that we cannot resolve within 72 hours, we will provide either:
    • A full refund, or
    • A replacement product of equal value.
  3. Product Not As Described – If you believe the product is not as described, you must notify our Technical Support within 7 business days of purchase with valid proof. False claims may lead to legal action.

No Refunds for Web & App Development Services

Once we have provided website or application development services, refunds will not be issued. We also do not guarantee compatibility with third-party software unless explicitly mentioned on our product page.
